The idea behind this project was to develop an awareness moving image, time-based multimedia, film, or animation to encourage people to change their attitudes and thoughts about environmental issues and reduce the effects of climate change.

Having selected electronic waste as my subject choice, I have researched as much as I can about the problems that this kind of waste creates, and how we can mitigate the risk associated with it.

I chose to use 2D animation with bright colours and simple shapes so that this informative video could be shared across different platforms and social media without being threatening or making people feel guilty about their behaviour around the subjects, but rather just making them aware of the possibility of changing in a friendly manner.

I created my first fully animated video using only After Effects as an image moving program and a text-to-speech software for the voice over. Additionally, it was my first time using sound effects to enhance the immersive quality of the animation.
